Give field coordinators and supervisors a shared record of what happened at the last contact, what needs follow-up, and which authorizations are nearing expiration. One Care Portal helps Alaska Medicaid waiver teams coordinate that work across locations.
Alaska Senior and Disabilities Services (SDS) uses Harmony for program administration. Certified and enrolled care coordinators can use it to submit documents and monitor cases. Your agency identifies a Harmony Access Coordinator before requesting access for additional staff. Alaska SDS Harmony instructions.
Contact and support-plan rules
Alaska has five Medicaid home and community-based services (HCBS) waivers under section 1915(c). Start with the participant’s waiver. Open Care Coordination Conditions of Participation on the SDS site and use the section for that program to check contact methods, frequency, and support-plan duties. SDS lists Community First Choice and long-term services and supports targeted case management separately. Alaska SDS care coordination rules, Alaska HCBS waiver overview.
Internal workflow example. At a handoff, list the participant’s waiver, the last completed contact, the next contact due under that program, and the staff member responsible for any open follow-up.
Use One Care Portal for your agency’s caseload and review work. State submissions go through Harmony or the Alaska Medicaid provider portal, as required.

Give supervisors a consistent way to review notes, plans, and supporting PDFs against agency criteria. Track flagged gaps and review decisions across locations.
Give billing staff a shared view of claims, denials, and payments. Validate and submit claims through supported clearinghouse workflows, track status, and post 835 electronic remittances.
Yes. Each module works on its own or with the others. Keep your current EHR as your system of record and upload PDFs to Compliance Review. Automated document imports depend on compatible EHR API access and are configured during onboarding.
How do we check whether Billing/RCM fits our Alaska claims?
Claim submission uses clearinghouse-supported payer workflows. We confirm payer, plan, enrollment, transaction, and claim-type fit during setup. Tell us which payers and claim types your team handles.
